| Dead computer |

My computer is dead and am having problems getting the new one going - damn technology. I am having such withdrawal symptoms - no checking for new hot slash at bedtime to ensure a good nights sleep, and I'm terrified I'm missing lots of good stuff. Aargh! There's always something. Can't use the work computer for slash so am relying on the local internet cafe, which is limiting. Damn! |

Wasn't Orlando Bloom wonderful on Extras last night? He was so funny sending himself up - it's so endearing that he doesn't take himself too seriously. What a lovely boy he is! The stuff with the magazine polls and 'willy Wonka Johnny Wanker' was a riot. He does seem to have kept his feet on the ground, doesn't he. |

Thank goodness I am back in the land of the living and feeling much better. That Shingles was hideous - I've never experienced pain and discomfort like it.
Am finally beginning to start writing again - the timing of the illness really sucked as I was just getting down to it when I lost inspiration.Hopefully it won't be too long before I post more fic. |

Whee! I managed to get a userpic all by myself! And without asking anyone's advice
This may not seem much, but to a computermoron like me it's a major achievement.
And I'm spotty, itchy and sick.
No idea where the pic came from - am happy to credit anyone it belongs to.
'Computermoron' was a typo but actually, it's a pretty good description of me! |

The discussion on Heart of Slash has made me think - I am going to be more diligent about commenting on fics that I've really enjoyed, and join in more discussions.
I will not be starting today as I have got Shingles. I am a scabby, sore itchy mess and am feeling pretty sorry for myself. I think my comments would be of the negative, 'shoot me now' kind.
Just wait till I'm feeling better! |
